DBS Environmental is uniquely qualified to offer our services to the Communities in the Province of Alberta.

We are a family-owned, financially stable 30-plus year-old Company working daily on specialized Waste Management and Disposal Services throughout the province of Alberta.  We work for and provide services to many of the waste authorities in this province.  We also provide an Emergency Response Team to handle situations involving hazardous material. Our management and staff are trained in Waste and Chemical Handling, Separation and Identification.  We have an audited Health and Safety program and a Certificate of Recognition from Alberta Labor (C.O.R). 

Our company’s focus has been dealing with the rural communities of Southern Alberta.  Our experience has achieved an excellent working relationship with Alberta Environmental Protection and other Regulatory agencies. We are able to keep abreast of all regulation changes and provide support to the customers we serve.

DBS has been involved with the Household Toxic Round-up Program from its creation over 16 years ago.  We are the creators of the “Mobile Round-up Centre” which has been serving communities throughout the Province.  Our work with the Round-up Centre was recognized by the presentation of the “Emerald Award” in 1994.  Our goal has always been to adapt to the needs of Alberta communities and to keep Toxic Round-up Collection available throughout the province.  We also participate in the Stewardship Programs for both Electronic Waste and Architectural Paint.

We are brokers for and customers of many of the recycling and disposal facilities in Western Canada, with whom  we have good working relationships.  We consider ourselves to be a resource for customers and the general public on environmental and disposal issues. 

In our work as an Emergency Response Team we provide 24 - hour capabilities with our staff answering the phone live at all times. 

We have an extensive line up of equipment at our disposal to accomplish this work. This list includes but is not limited to: (3) Tractor Trailer Trucks, (4) Mobile Round-up Centres, 3 hitchhikers, 2 forklifts, Emergency Response Van, Half Tons, Bobcat Loader, and a Utility Tractor with snow removal and grass-cutting equipment.  We also have: Mobile-wash Equipment, Back-up Generators, Lighting Equipment, Portable Vacuum System and an assortment of Hand Tools.
